Mazda Servicing

Silverstone Autosport specialise in Mazda ROTARY engines in North Wales. So now along with Subaru servicing and Warranty work we can offer the following services on all Mazda models including RX7 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen and RX8's. Silverstone Autosport is the place for Mazda servicing in the North West and Wales. These particular engines are our speciality in which we have a vast amount of experience however we also offer service's like performance upgrades and tuning to other Jap vehicles such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Subaru, Honda and Nissan. We are able to offer an extensive range of servicing and repair work, tailor made to suit your needs.

Mazda Rx8 Mapping

Graham our Engine Mapper has cracked mapping the Rx8 standard ECU and most of the Mazda series

Engine Mapper is now able to offer you a comprehensive bespoke mapping service on your Mazda. Having forged a very strong business relationship with us, a test Rx8 was used to prove that Mazdas extraction of power and efficiency still had more to come. The results have been fantastic, with increased economy, power and efficiency all round.

We have our very own 13b NA full race rotary engine which can be specced up to around: 300Bhp!! Amazingly the engine itself weighs only 85kg!!! and can be fitted low down in most engine bays, especially if a dry sump is fitted. This application is suitable for Ford Escorts (MK1/MK2), kit cars and most rear wheel drive cars. You can see the car competing in various events around the country.

We also now have an Ex works GPB Mazda RX7. Mazda Rally Team Europe used the Group B RX-7s in select rallies in 1984 & '85. Their best finish was 3rd overall by Ingvar Carlson at the 1985 Acropolis. Rod Millen finished 9th overall at the last rally, they used them at the 1985 RAC. The car has an overall weight of 940 Kg. This car has been with us to events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed and the historic event Boucles De Spa, Belgium. It is a fantastic piece of equipment that is greatly loved within the team.
